Composing a first draft is a good method to write about the literature I will read about in this course. Getting what you read on paper can be the hardest thing. Once it gets on paper I can make small changes to better the paper than making large adjustments and changing multiple things. One method I use making these adjustments is interpreting and arguing. Once I get the main idea down on my paper. I can make arguments and interpret information to better complete the essay. Some reading material is confusing to understand. That is what you must interpret. One of the last things I will use frequently is called revision. This is one or the most important parts of writing. If you don’t have good revision the paper will have multiple grammar and spelling errors. When you write a paper or essay it is very important to have good grammar and spelling. No matter what you write you are writing to an audience. That audience must be able to understand what you wrote for them to read.

Three to four methods of writing
The first step I use to writing a paper is to prewrite. This is where I brain storm my ideas that I have for how I want to write my paper. Typically I write a few ideas on paper and then start writing using one of them and if I hit a wall in my writing I go to another one. Drafting is the second step in my writing and this is where I start writing my paper with the ideas that I came up with in my prewriting. I don’t focus on making mistakes in the draft; I just work on getting my ideas onto paper. After I finish my rough draft I proof read it myself and make any corrections that need to be made. After I make the corrections that becomes my second draft. Once I have finished my second draft I have it peer edited. That is simply where someone else in the class reads my paper and looks for any mistakes I may have missed. This is very helpful in writing because a lot of times I miss mistakes because I know what I was trying to say. Whereas the person peer editing my paper has no idea so it is easier for them to catch the mistakes than it is for me to do so. After I receive my paper back from being peer edited I write my final draft.

The first method too writing about a text is understanding the text. I skim and then read the text for better understanding. Once I have completely understood the text I will then make a page of notes about key points on the text. That would be the second step. After I have read the text and brainstormed I then move the second step which is putting my thoughts in a order and outline style. A good outline is ideal for a good paper. Then once my outline is complete and I no longer need the brainstorming papers and the story is now second nature, I set down to write a rough draft which is all my points in the outline put in a readable and understandable way, something with good flow and word choice. My next step would be to ask the instructor to look over it and proof read it, once she has returned the paper I would then move to my last and final stage of typing my final paper. In order to have a strong final paper I would have to make all corrections and additions that where recommend while keeping the flow of my rough draft. Once I was confident in my work I would then save and print the essay.

Every one has their own constructive way to write an essay. Most people use methods such as; prewriting, brainstorming, and peer editing. Going over the subject and constructing notes can often be helpful. Break down the subject into paragraphs, and then base your notes off of the paragraphs. Even when the instructor is going over the essay in class, notes should be taken on how the instructor expects the essay to be laid out. I often use brainstorming as a building block for essays. Brainstorming is an effective way to produce ideas before you attempt to write an essay. Say the essay is required to be five paragraphs long, I then break my thoughts up an introductory paragraph, three paragraphs for the body, and end with a conclusion paragraph. Once all notes are taken and you think you are ready to begin your essay, I find it helpful to first write all your notes out and figure out the sequential order that you will be putting them in. After brainstorming and having prewritten your notes out, you are finally able to begin the essay. After you have finished your essay it is a good idea to have someone peer edit the essay. Peer editing can often catch simple mistakes that you just over looked. Print a couple rough drafts out, and get a friend or another teacher to read over your essay. Next you are finally ready to finish your final draft and turn the essay in.

To write about literature it is important to have a plan in mind and a purpose for writing, four methods that is important to remember is while starting a writing progress prewriting, drafting, peer editing and revision. Prewriting is a technique that is used to start writing about literature. Prewriting includes critical reading and thinking, researching the topic, making graphs, free writing and other helpful techniques are important to make a strong paper. Prewriting will give the writer the base of the paper and organize all the thoughts. The next step in the writing process is drafting this will help a person get started on writing the paper and getting the ideas of the writer on paper. After the first copy is written down, and has been checked by the writer, now it is important for peer editing. This means that other people will read the work that is written by the writer and give their feedback on the paper that could lead to helpful improvements. The last step of the plan is revision of the paper. Rechecking the paper and correcting any issues on the paper is important to change and make a final copy of the paper. It is important to have a plan on mind to be able to write a successful paper about literature.

pre-writing organize/arrange revising There are numerous was and methods of writing these are three of my way that I use when I am writing. Pre writhing consist of brainstorming. When you brainstorm you get together all of your idea and see what sound the best. If you put together the strongest ideas that will let you elaborate and have key points on you subject it will work out for the best. The next step is to organize your ideas. You will have to put your ideas in the order that it is thought of or done; most likely it will be in chronological order of what happens. Make it look presentable to your audience. Your writing will have to attract people, entertain them so they will stay interested. Another is to revise your writing. Revising is same as your final draft, you revise your work to “tweak” your writing. Revising make everything better, it’s like dotting your I’s and crossing your t’s. There are other methods that you will use while writing these are just three of the many

Methods to Write a Good Paper There are many ways to help a person write a good paper. Some of these include prewriting or brainstorming, drafting, and peer editing. Prewriting can help a person by asking the question who is my audience and what is my purpose of this paper. Also drawing things like bubble maps and writing lists to get your ideas down on paper are a key factor in writing a good paper. Another good method to help writing a paper is drafting. A rough draft can allow you to get your ideas down on paper and in an essay form. Also drafting is a good way to see how long your paper is and if you need to add or remove things from your paper. One more way to help write a good paper is to have peer edits. A paper that has been edited by someone else can help show you if you made a mistake and did not catch it so you can fix it before your final draft. Also someone else reading your paper can make suggestions to help your paper flow better and make more sense. All these ideas and methods are key parts to writing a good paper.

It seems the most difficult aspect of writing is how to begin. To begin a paper successfully, I normally start by researching the topic I am writing about. When attempting to start a literary work brainstorming can really make a difference. Sometimes I like to make an unorganized list of thoughts I have on the topic of my paper. I jot down random bullets that come to me as I go. It helps to have those thoughts down when going into the first draft. Once that is done, the organization process begins. One method I use for this is a bubble map. Putting things in a bubble map can help to place the thoughts from a list in the right order in the paper. Another useful method to writing a paper is to have someone else revise your rough draft. Make sure there are no spelling or grammatical errors in the paper. Having another person look at the paper is effective because they may see something you have missed. These are just a few things to help improve writing skills, though there are many other useful methods for writing out there.

During this semester English class the way I will be writing my literature papers will be consisting of first brainstorming and coming up with ideas about what to write and how to write it. Secondly I will write my rough draft. When writing my rough draft I will try to do my best with grammar and punctuation, however I am going to have to proof read and edit the papers. During the proofreading process I will rearrange sentences, change wording around, spell check, and reread the paper several times to check to see if I am staying on topic. Lastly I will make my final draft. In the final draft I will type the paper and make a title page. When making the title pages I will make sure to include the date, the class the paper is for, classes room numbers, teacher’s name, and my name. Now that the paper is done I will always turn it in on time for a good grade.

Methods of writing about literature
I will read the literature and go over it through my head to make sure that I know and understand the material I am reading. Look up words and reread the parts that I do not fully understand so they can stick in my head and I can figure them out. Try to image what is taking place in the literature to get a better understanding of what is being read, get a mental image of the situation. I understand what is going on a lot better when I have or I can picture something I am reading or whatever is going on, I am more of a visual person so that is the major thing that will help me understand the literature I am reading. Take notes on what I am reading, important details, write a rough draft so I can see what is going through my head and help my self comprehend what I am writing. I can use notes to help me remember what is going on in the past of what iv already read if it is long story I am reading.

In literature it is always best if you cant understand the story then read and reread. rereading a story will allow you to pick up on other parts that you didn't read the first time. writing about a piece of literature that one has currently read is always best if you begin with brain storming. Brain storming is a key part while writing a story. Whenever you brainstorm or prewrite you can introduce new ideas, different plots, a climax, and a conclusion in any order. Upon finishing the brain storm paper one could go back get all his/her ideas in order and write a decent rough draft. When writing a first draft one should not worry as much on misspelling words or grammar, yet he/she should get the plot of whatever they are writing and go with it. I could improve best on my writing if I did follow these simple steps. Most people get into too big of a hurry when writing and do not think about the small things they have messed up on, I am a prime example of this.

There are many different ways in writing a paper. The first thing I try to do is have a good understanding about the topic in which I am writing about. After that the next thing I try to is get as information or research on that topic as I possibly can. Once I have all my research, I brainstorm about what part of my research I want to include in paper. I also try to figure out how the layout of my main points should be within my paper. Then I write my rough draft. Once that’s complete I get friends, teachers, anyone who can help me with it, to go over it and see what they think of the paper. Once I get some feedback on my paper I reorganize it into what I the edited form. Then once I have my paper as good as I think it can be I write my final draft. Even once I write my final draft I get someone to go over it to make sure that there are no mistakes. Those are just some of the steps or methods that I use to make sure I stay on topic and write the literature that I read.

There are many different ways to approach writing. Some of the methods that you can use to help your writing process are; critical reading and thinking, free writing, drafting, and peer editing. Critical reading and thinking will help someone to discover the underlying meanings and relationships between characters and the situations they are in. This in turn will help you better understand the literature and point that it is trying to make. Free writing will allow you to quickly write things down that you may or may not want to put into a first draft without having to worry about correctness and punctuation. Writing notes or ideas as you read literature will allow you to remember things that you were thinking about in the beginning that may have been disproved or forgotten during reading. You can use free writing to form a rough draft and allow your peers to edit your draft to help you see a different point of view or point out problems that your writing could contain. Having peers edit your paper will allow you to make changes and corrections that you may have missed.

Composing a rough draft is a method of writing, although possibly it could very well be the hardest of all. The rough draft is the starting point of your story. The rough draft should take the longest out of all of the methods, considering that you have to get all of your thoughts onto paper make then you have to put in such a way you have to make sense. Rewriting the story is the second important method of writing a story; there you can insert some details that you may have forgotten while writing the rough draft, while rewriting you can see if your story makes sense and flows fluently with the story line, and make changes as needed. The third important method of writing is the revision process. There you can read your story several times, and even have a colleague of yours also read it and tell you what corrections should be made, and if the story flows from start to finish. Then the final method is writing the final draft, which should have been revised by one or more of your colleagues. The final draft should be relatively problem free.
